Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Local storage is a similar space in your browser. This page lists what engramkinetics.com uses, and why. We use no advertising cookies.

1. Necessary

• Sign-in, session and site settings, set by our platform provider, LearnWorlds (for example the cookies named slim_session and, once you sign in, lw_tokens and school, and an anonymous_token value in local storage), and the choices you make in the cookie banner. Without them, you cannot log in or take a course.
• Site protection: the site is protected by Cloudflare, which sets a cookie named _cfuvid to block abuse.
• Payment security, set by Stripe (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid, and a cookie on Stripe's own domain) to detect fraud during checkout.

2. Your learning progress, on your device

Our learning modules save your progress in your browser's local storage, under names that start with ek_: your scores, where you stopped, your scroll position, and your timing choice in practice exams. Your progress dashboard copies your scores to our progress database, under a technical code, without your name or your email address, so that you can see them on other devices. Our Privacy Policy gives the details.

3. Analytics

Our platform provider, LearnWorlds, may measure how the platform is used with Mixpanel, its analytics provider (storage names that start with __mp). This helps LearnWorlds run and improve the platform. We have added no Google Analytics, no Meta (Facebook) pixel and no other advertising tracker to the site.

4. Your choices

You can accept or refuse non-necessary cookies in the cookie banner, and change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of our pages. You can also delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. If you delete local storage, the modules lose your resume point on that device; scores already copied to your dashboard stay there.
